Day 1 – ARRIVE AUCKLAND
MEALS: LUNCH I DINNER Kia Ora! Welcome to New Zealand, the youngest country on Earth! On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Auckland is a blend of islands, Polynesian culture, glistening harbours and modern city environment. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city and discover why it is one of the best places in the world to visit. Note: (Transfers will be in accordance with the group schedule; otherwise, clients are required to manage their own transfers to the hotel.)
Day 2 – AT AUCKLAND
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: AUCKLAND HIGHLIGHTS LUXURY TOUR INCLUDING SKY TOWER ENTRY MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER After Breakfast, we head for the first activity of the tour. Combine the highlights of Auckland City and entry to Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower into one great half day Auckland experience. Your guide will show you the most iconic highlights of Auckland City. See beautiful beaches, panoramic views of several volcanoes, the Auckland Harbour Bridge, Westhaven Marina and the Auckland Domain all in a few hours. See Tamaki Drive with sweeping views across the Waitemata Harbour towards Bastion Point and Mission Bay, Auckland City’s most well known beach. Marvel at Auckland’s icon, Rangitoto Island, as the youngest and largest volcano in the Auckland Volcanic Field. Your Auckland Tour concludes at Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower, at 328m the tallest free- standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere where you get to see the panoramic view of the entire city.
Day 3 – AUCKLAND TO ROTORUA (VIA WAITOMO CAVES)
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: WAITOMO GLOWWORM CAVES II GEOTHERMAL WONDERLAND OF ROTORUA MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER We'll then be driven through the stunning Waikato countryside on a fully guided journey to Waitomo Caves. During the journey to Waitomo you will encounter New Zealand's longest river, beautiful mountains, and see several different farm animals along the way. We will continue our adventure with another fully guided journey south to Rotorua, with many more attractions to see along the way, including hydro dams, rivers and lots more animals. Rotorua- Once in Rotorua we will guide you past many of its famous and historical sites, including Lake Rotorua, The Government Gardens, Blue Baths, Thermal Springs and Polynesian Spa, before reaching your accommodation.
Day 4 – AT ROTORUA
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: HOBBITON- MORNING TOUR OR AFTERNOON TOUR MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER Embark on your journey from Rotorua, where the enchanting Hobbiton Movie Set Tour begins with a picturesque drive to Matamata. Upon arrival, delve into the magic of the Hobbiton Movie Set on a guided tour, discovering the meticulous craftsmanship that brought this idyllic farmland to life as a vibrant slice of Middle Earth. After your immersive adventure, indulge in a delectable lunch at The Party Marquee, savouring the flavours of the Shire before bidding farewell to this whimsical realm and returning to Rotorua, filled with cherished memories of your journey through Tolkien's fantastical world.
Day 5 – FLY TO QUEENSTOWN (SOUTH ISLAND)
MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER In the morning check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Queenstown. On arrival in Queenstown, you will be transferred and check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Queenstown on your own.
Day 6 – AT QUEENSTOWN
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: MILFORD SOUND EXPERIENCE MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER On this full-day tour to Milford Sound enjoy guided commentary touring to and from Milford Sound with our experienced guides. Once in Milford Sound, we join a stunning two hour small boat nature cruise on the fjord – see waterfalls, fur seals, penguins and occasionally dolphins.
Day 7 – AT QUEENSTOWN
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: SHOTOVER RIVER- K JET MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER The only way to experience our Canyons, see their beauty and feel their power, is to come on a journey with us, the world’s most exciting jet boat ride. A unique combination of beauty and power, it’s an experience like no other, blending pristine natural landscape with wall to wall canyon action from start to finish! Proudly owned by Ngāi Tahu, the Māori people of this land, our connection to the Kimiākau (Shotover River) goes back centuries. As the home of our tīpuna (ancestors), this place is part of us. Only we have access to the spectacular Shotover Canyons and no one knows this area like we do!
Day 8 – QUEENSTOWN TO CHRISTCHURCH
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: MOUNT COOK II LAKE TEKAPO MEALS: BREAKFAST | LUNCH | DINNER Embark on an unforgettable journey from Queenstown to Christchurch, traversing through the breathtaking landscapes of Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo.
